Gravel & Paver Driveways in Cherry Hill, NJ
New crushed-stone and paver driveways, including tearing out the old concrete first, from twin brothers Jakub and Karol Miklus.
What we build
On one recent job we took out the old concrete, put in a crushed-stone driveway and planted a new bed beside it.

Crushed-stone driveways
Clean crushed stone over a compacted base, with edging that keeps the stone off the lawn.
Paver driveways
Concrete pavers in a pattern made to carry cars, with a border course along the edges.
Concrete tear-out
We break up the old concrete and haul it away before the new driveway goes in.
Borders and walkways
A paver border along the sides, or a walkway tied in from the driveway to the door.
What goes under a driveway
A driveway carries cars, so the base underneath matters more than the surface.

- Tear outThe old concrete or asphalt is broken up and hauled away.
- Dig and gradeSoil comes out and the area is graded so water runs away from the garage and the house.
- Stone baseCrushed stone goes in and is compacted in layers, deeper than under a patio.
- SurfaceClean stone with steel edging, or pavers on sand with edge restraint and polymeric sand joints.
